Account Executive - Local Marketing Solutions

Locable is seeking highly a motivated and friendly sales professional to join our team in Folsom, CA.

Locable provides a range of local marketing services and solutions anchored by our uniquely powerful marketing platform and approach.

We partner with great local organizations including local chambers of commerce, main street and downtown associations, lead generation groups, and more. These relationships lead to numerous sales opportunities, we're looking for your pleasantly persistent attitude to help us capitalize on those opportunities and serve more local organizations.

Position Responsibilities:
This is not a cold lead situation. All of your initial outreach is to offer free services tied to an organization they already participate with which dramatically simplifies the sales cycle and allows you to introduce paid services in a more conversation way, it makes sales a lot more fun.

You'll be responsible for the full sales cycle: starting with the aforementioned introductory calls (phone or in person), identify and assess customers needs, and conduct sales presentations by meeting with customers (via phone or in person) on a daily basis. You'll be expected to manage follow up, in part through automated tools, and see the sales process through to the close.

This is not a high-pressure sales environment nor is it a hard-sell. That said, it is a sales role and you should expect to close business regularly.

Qualifications:

  • Positive, can-do attitude. Must be coachable, able to implement feedback, and dedicated to consistent self-improvement with a drive to succeed.
  • Assertive, persistent, good listening skills and persuasive.
  • Ability to effectively communicate and interact with decision-level business professionals.

Preferences:

  • Solid computer skills and solid understanding of the internet.
  • 2+ years of B2B sales experience. 

Requirements:

  • Required completed paperwork and personal information to establish 1099 work relationship.
  • Ability to work business hours - consistent Part-Time availability is a minimum. 
  • Must provide transportation and have a smartphone (we'll provide the software etc).
