Eagle River Revitalization Program Inc. was incorporated in 1999 by a group of local business owners as a 501(c)3 non-profit corporation and a Nationally Accredited Main Street Program (Gold Tier Status) servicing the City of Eagle River. We continue to maintain our national and state accreditation every year since our inception by following Main Street's four point approach and being guided by or vision and mission.
We serve the City of Eagle River but we are a tourist community so our customers for our farmers market come from all over the state and other states. Most of our business owners are local to the northwoods area.
Our Origin Story: The Eagle River Revitalization Program
The Eagle River Revitalization Program (ERRP) was established in 1999 with a clear mission: to preserve the unique charm of Eagle River while fostering economic growth and revitalization in the downtown district. Recognizing the need to support local businesses, enhance public spaces, and stimulate community engagement, a dedicated group of community leaders and business owners came together to form ERRP. Their goal was to create a thriving, welcoming environment that would attract visitors, support entrepreneurs, and strengthen the local economy.
Since its inception, ERRP has evolved into a Nationally Accredited Main Street Program, achieving Gold Tier status, which reflects its commitment to excellence in revitalization efforts. Over the years, ERRP has addressed critical community challenges such as business development, beautification projects, and infrastructure improvements. Through initiatives like façade grants, public art installations, and the management of the Eagle River Farmers Market, ERRP has become a cornerstone of the community, offering tangible benefits to businesses and residents alike.
Today, ERRP continues to grow and adapt, working collaboratively with local stakeholders to ensure Eagle River remains a vibrant, thriving place to live, work, and visit. By partnering with businesses, community organizations, and local government, ERRP helps shape the future of the city while preserving the small-town charm that makes Eagle River special.
