Pursuant to Tennessee Code Annotated Section 13-7-203 a 21-day notice is hereby given of a public hearing to be held by the Board of Mayor and Aldermen of the City of Brownsville on Tuesday, March 17, 2026 at 5:30 PM in the Brownsville City Hall Community Room. The hearing will be held in order to receive public input on the following:

 

1)    An ordinance to amend the City of Brownsville Municipal Zoning Map rezoning certain property located on east Jefferson Street / Mercer Road from R-3 (High Density Residential) to R-1 (Low Density Residential) furtherly described as tax parcels 001.00 (Joe Moore Estate), 002.00 (Joe Moore Estate), 003.00 (Carolyn Flagg), 004.00 (Jo Z & Alan R. 4)       An ordinance to amend Chapter 11, “Provisions Governing Signs”, Section 11.04, Regulations and Standards, of the City of Brownsville Municipal Zoning Ordinance, be amended to correspond with the adopted Anderson 76 Avenue (State Route 76) Gateway Corridor Zoning Provisions

 

5)       An ordinance of the Board of Mayor and Aldermen of the City of Brownsville, Tennessee, to amend title 20 of the Brownsville Municipal Code of Ordinances by adding a new Chapter 2 providing Anti-noise Regulations with regards to the disturbance of peace and quiet of the citizens of Brownsville, Tennessee
