Locable is looking for an Account Executive & Sales Enablement Manager to join our growing team!

We’re seeking an experienced Account Executive who will be responsible for driving sales across two complementary product lines.

This is a unique role that combines inside sales activities with sales enablement to equip and motivate our network of community partners to drive more warm prospects. 

Our multi-pronged marketing approach generates leads and awareness that a savvy salesperson can quickly aid in closing. Moreover, our work with local publishers, Main Street organizations and Chambers of Commerce provide a steady stream of referrals and inbound interest - often resulting in one-call closes.

The ideal candidate should be very personable online and offline, have clear written and verbal communication skills, and get excited about taking a solutions sales approach to selling. 

A can-do attitude and unrelenting follow-through are the most critical skills you must possess - if you say you’ll do something (follow up, send information, get an answer) you will do it. Put another way, you must be pleasantly persistent.

Your compensation will include a base salary and a healthy commission plan that will be tied to personal accomplishment and overall company growth. Advancement is possible either as a pure closer or into a sales management position as we grow our sales department. 

What will I do all day?

You’ll engage directly with leads and prospects on both sides of our business: local publishers (magazines and newspapers) as well as local businesses, organizations, associations & nonprofits.

This is a classic solutions approach and you are their guide. 

Sales cycles vary greatly across our product lines and solutions but you’ll have technology, a coordinated marketing approach, and tools at your disposal to generate leads, qualify prospects, move conversations forward, and close business with good-better-best options.

Your primary responsibility is to qualify or disqualify leads with a consistent and dedicated effort in order to meet your monthly quota. Secondarily, you will be tasked with helping improve our sales process to accelerate growth and work with our Customer Success Team to motivate our community partners to deliver referrals.

We’re looking for someone experienced working with local businesses, who is excited about our unique approach to local, is comfortable utilizing technology and processes to drive sales, and wants to be an integral part of the next great success story. To fit in here, you have to embrace the cliche of doing well by doing good.

What we’re looking for:

  • You’re a resourceful problem solver who likes to continuously learn new things

  • You have 3+ years of experience in a B2B sales position, with results to prove it

  • You’re comfortable with or happy to learn and embrace technology to make your life easier through automation, scheduling and the like

  • You know when to talk and when to listen. Clients need our help and we need to firmly yet patiently communicate, we close but we’re never a high-pressure sales company

  • You’re a clear and concise writer - and, probably, a fan of Grammarly

  • You’re an empathetic communicator, a team player, and have unparalleled persistence and follow through
