Serenity Solutions Bookkeeping provides bookkeeping, cleanup, and financial systems support for small businesses, nonprofits, and contractors. The focus is on helping business owners understand what their numbers are actually telling them so they can make confident decisions and stay compliant without feeling overwhelmed.

Serenity Solutions is led by Amanda Torbet, with the support of a growing team and strong local partnerships. Collaboration with CPAs, bankers, insurance professionals, and Chamber members allows her to better serve clients and the community as a whole.

Meet Amanda

Amanda Torbet is the owner of Serenity Solutions Bookkeeping.

Amanda's path to bookkeeping wasn't traditional. "I've always had that entrepreneurial spirit, so I understand what it's like to be in the trenches, wearing all the hats, juggling priorities, trying to make sense of the financial side without much support."

Through that experience, Amanda realized she had a knack for bookkeeping and accounting. "I didn’t just enjoy it—I was really good at it. That realization led me to pursue certifications with the NACPB and QuickBooks, and eventually to start this business."

Born From a Need: How Serenity Solutions Began

Serenity Solutions grew out of a need she kept seeing in the community.

Amanda stated, "Many business owners were working incredibly hard but lacked clean, usable financial information. I started the business to bridge the gap between raw bookkeeping and real-world decision making, especially for businesses that felt too small to get meaningful support elsewhere."

Buffalo has a strong small-business culture, and many owners here wear every hat. What makes Serenity Solutions work meaningful is helping those owners feel less alone in the financial side of their business. With a focus on clarity and education, not judgment, Serenity Solutions meets clients where they are.

Teaching, Supporting, and Growing Together

Amanda is currently serving on the Chamber Board as Secretary and is actively involved in small‑business networking groups and one‑on‑one education with local owners. “Education is a core part of our work; helping clients understand their reports, cash flow, and compliance so they can grow with confidence and sustainability,” she says.

Amanda believes that maintaining an active partnership with the Buffalo Area Chamber of Commerce, as well as several local nonprofits and community organizations, is important for continued growth. Serenity Solutions is committed to supporting the Chamber and regional economic development, reflecting their belief that thriving businesses create a stronger community. 

Creating Lasting Impact

Serenity Solutions' goal is to continue building systems that help local businesses stay compliant, organized, and financially healthy while expanding their educational resources and community partnerships.

When asked how she measures success, Amanda said, "Success looks like business owners sleeping better at night, understanding their numbers, and being prepared for taxes, loans, or growth opportunities. When a client goes from stressed and reactive to confident and proactive, that’s impact." 

Their focus moving forward is to keep supporting local businesses and to encourage business owners who feel stuck or overwhelmed to seek help sooner rather than later.
