Community International Festival
Description
Bucknell University and the Lewisburg Downtown Partnership are hosting the third annual Community International Festival in Hufnagle Park in Lewisburg, PA, on Saturday, September 19, 2026 from 12-4 PM, as part of Bucknell’s Family Weekend. This event is designed to celebrate the diverse cultures that enrich our community, and will feature global food vendors, music, and live performances.
While there is no fee to participate, all vendors and organizations must bring their own equipment (tables, chairs, canopies, etc).
In addition, if you are cooking in a tent or food truck, the William Cameron Fire Company requires annual fire safety inspections. If you have already been inspected as part of a different festival in Hufnagle Park, please bring your certification from the past event. Otherwise, please be prepared for inspection by the fire chief at this event. Details are included in this document. In addition to the fire safety inspection, if you are cooking in a tent, you will need to place cardboard on the ground to minimize the spread of grease in the park.
If you are interested in participating with a booth or food truck at the event, please fill out this Google Form.
We would like to invite local community groups, nonprofits, vendors and food trucks to be a part of this event. We especially encourage nonprofits who serve the local international and immigrant communities to participate, as well as international- or immigrant-run businesses. International crafts, children’s activities, and food would also align well with the theme of the event. However, all vendors and community groups interested in participating are welcome!
The Community International Festival promises an afternoon full of vibrant activities, cultural displays, and opportunities for the entire community to engage with and appreciate the rich tapestry of cultures that contribute to the uniqueness of the Susquehanna Valley. We hope you will be able to join us!
