Share your thoughts on the proposed extension of the Buffalo Valley Rail Trail across the Susquehanna River between Lewisburg and Montandon.

The goal is to understand how community members feel about the proposed trail extension, including potential benefits, concerns, current trail use, and local transportation needs.
The survey takes about 4–5 minutes to complete.
Your participation is completely voluntary.
There is no direct benefit for completing the survey. However, your feedback will help researchers better understand community perspectives and may be shared with local stakeholders and the broader community to support thoughtful planning and decision-making around public recreation and transportation infrastructure.

Appalachian Leadership Inst Visited Lewisburg on May 5th
Participants from the Appalachian Leadership Institute visited downtown Lewisburg on May 5.
The group spent time in the downtown area, learned more about our community, and experienced the local businesses and character that make Lewisburg unique.

Getting reimbursed for gift certificates is easy!
Checks can be dropped off at your location within 24 hours during the regular workweek (Monday–Friday, approximately 9 AM–5 PM). Just email Alex:
Reimbursement Basics
• Merchants may request a check for up to $500 in collected certificates at a time
• Gift certificates never expire
Before Accepting a Certificate
Please take a quick moment to confirm it’s legitimate:
• LDP logo sticker on the corner
• A visible serial number
• Original print quality (not photocopied)
If something feels off, trust your instincts — you’re always welcome to pause and call us to confirm before accepting it.
If you’ve got certificates sitting in a drawer, turn them into cash and back into your business. 💼✨
New on LDP Website: Benefits Merchants
We’ve recently updated the LewisburgPA.com website to make it easier for both visitors and businesses to find what they need.
One of the biggest changes you’ll notice is the addition of new Community Calendars and Sales & Specials sections. If they look a little empty right now—that’s intentional.
These sections are powered directly by the Locable network, meaning the content comes from participating businesses.
You might be wondering—why use Locable when you already have Facebook or other social media? The advantage is efficiency.
When connected, you can create events, promotions, or updates in Locable and push them directly to your social media, while also appearing on LewisburgPA.com and across the local network.
It’s a simple way to expand your reach without adding more work.
