Antrim County is seeking Interest Notices for positions on several boards

Open positions available on the following boards, commissions, and committees: 

• Commission on Aging Advisory Board
• Construction Code Board of Appeals (6-2 partial terms, 2 full terms)
• E911 Board
• Economic Development Corporation
• Farmland & Open Space Preservation Board (4-2 partial terms, 2 full terms)
• Northern Lakes Economic Alliance Board of Directors
• Planning Commission
• Veterans Affairs Committee

The Construction Code Board of Appeals requires that all applicants be licensed and qualified by experience or training in their respective fields.

The Farmland & Open Space Preservation Board is seeking applicants who represent local conservation interests, local real-estate interests, a interest in a local agribusiness, or an interest in an agricultural operation.  

Applicants to the Veterans Affairs Board must be a registered voter in Antrim County who have served honorably on active duty in the United States Armed Forces.  Interested residents should fill out and submit the committee-specific Interest Notification Form found on the County website www.antrimcountymi.gov  A copy of the applicant's DD-214 is also required for this committee.  

All interested parties must submit a Notice of Interest that can be found on the County's website.  

The Chairman of the Board of Commissioners is expected to make official appointments in December.
