Stars, Stripes, & Smiles: 250 Fun Day!
At 9:45 AM on June 13, see the unveiling of a new trail, and enjoy guided hikes starting at 10:00 AM! For easy difficulty, begin at the Miner’s Mule Stable, and for moderate difficulty, meet at the Trailhead.
To celebrate Maryland 250 from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM, visit three museums: the Farmhouse Museum, the Pennsylvania Bank with the Agriculture Museum, and the Coal Camp’s mine museum! There will also be fun activities for children, food vendors like Sweet Cravings, music, historical cooking demonstrations, and a presentation by the Sons of the American Revolution!
Plates, Pints, & Paws in the Park
Also on June 13, head to Hoffman Park from 12-6:00 PM for a dog fashion show, food trucks, live music, and cold beer! All proceeds support the Allegany County Animal Shelter, so come out to enjoy a great day filled with fun while also supporting a local cause!
Lemonade Stroll
The annual Lemonade Stroll is back on June 20 from 11:00 to 5:00 PM! Check out participating businesses for unique lemonade flavors and lemonade-themed baked goods and treats while strolling down Main Street!

Derby Day
Frostburg Elks 49th annual Derby Day is on its way! Head to Main Street on July 4 at 9:30 PM to see the race. It starts at the Frostburg Library, and the drivers are ages 9-14. Come support traditional, local events!
Pirates Ahoy!
The Children’s Literature Centre’s free event gives children the opportunity to play pirate games, make crafts, and hear a presentation from an author or illustrator! Adorn your best swash-buckling attire, and set your sails to City Place on July 8 at 9:00 AM for Pirates Ahoy!
Western Maryland Food Truck Festival
On July 11, the sixth annual Western Maryland Food Truck Festival is taking place at Hoffman Park from 12-8:00 PM. This event benefits the Averey’s Change-up Foundation and Allegany County Animal Shelter! With great food, cold drinks, and live music, you don’t want to miss this event.
Cruisin’ Main Street
Step back in time, reminisce, and check out classic cars at the 24th annual Classy Chassis Cruisin’ Main Street on September 3 from 5-11:00 PM! If you’re a classic car enthusiast, make sure to check out this event!
