Eat, Explore & Win with the FNL Downtown Dining Passport

Looking for a delicious reason to explore downtown Mason City this summer? Main Street Mason City is making it even more rewarding to dine local with the launch of the Friday Night Live Downtown Dining Passport, a fun new promotion that encourages residents and visitors alike to discover the incredible variety of restaurants, cafés, bars, and eateries throughout the downtown district.

The Downtown Dining Passport runs throughout the Friday Night Live Summer Series (June 5th-August 14th) and offers participants the chance to win downtown gift cards and other prizes simply by dining at participating establishments.

Whether you're grabbing dinner before the music starts, enjoying drinks with friends, or picking up takeout to enjoy on the Plaza, every visit can help you earn your way toward great prizes.

How It Works

1. Pick up your Downtown Dining Passport at the Mason City Welcome Center (13 N. Federal Avenue) or at participating downtown businesses.
2. Visit any participating dining establishment.
3. Scan the QR code for that business in your passport.
4. Complete the short entry form and upload a photo of your meal, beverage, or dining experience.
5.  Repeat throughout the summer to earn additional entries.

Each completed submission is tracked throughout the promotion. Participants who visit the most participating establishments will earn the top prizes.

Only one entry is permitted per visit to each business, so the more downtown dining destinations you explore, the more entries you'll collect and the better your chances of winning. The Downtown Dining Passport promotion runs through August 14, 2026.
