I needed an emergency vet as my dog had a severe allergic reaction. It was a very time sensitive issue. I called 3 different places that wouldn’t be able to take my dog. EPIC said they had availability and to bring in my dog ASAP. They were extremely helpful when I first called in, when I checked in, and throughout the appointment. The front desk was so helpful and accommodating. The vet was up front and clear about cost and care. Pricing was about average for the area. And they gave me multiple different price options of care when I asked. Thanks to EPIC my dog survived. In general: Highly recommend people look into pet insurance BEFORE something like this happens because once the pet experiences an allergic reaction and has to go to the vet for care, they now are considered to have a pre existing condition, and won’t be eligible for coverage.
