Rhea Heritage Preservation Foundation makes presentation to Tennessee teachers
RHPF Vice President Tom Davis presented a workshop on the Scopes Trial for Tennessee History for Kids on Feb. 6. He covered causes of the trial, legal strategies, the outcome, and why we’re still talking about a misdemeanor case 100 years after the fact.
March 18-20 RHPF will present the play “How It Started,” a lecture/discussion about the trial, and a tour of the Rhea Heritage & Scopes Trial Museum. The program is designed for students, but is open to anyone interested.
Registration is free, but required as space is limited. For information or to register, email admin@rheaheritage.com.Originally posted by Rhea Heritage Preservation Foundation via LocableRhea Heritage Preservation Foundation
