Iowa Falls Summer Organ Recital Series -- Dr. John MacInnis

For its twelfth season, The Iowa Falls Summer Organ Recital Series will offer three free Sunday afternoon concerts of organ music to the greater Iowa Falls community. These concerts are all at 4:00 pm and held at Saint Matthew's By-The-Bridge Episcopal Church, located at the corner of Railroad and Oak Streets, next to the US 65 arched bridge crossing the Iowa River.

The final concert of the series will feature John MacInnis. Dr. MacInnis is on the faculty of the music department at Dordt College here in Iowa, and will be joined by a violinist from the Dordt faculty. 

These programs are free, and the public is encouraged to attend.  A freewill offering will be available for those who wish to help with the expenses involved. There will be receptions following each program in the undercroft of the church where the audience can greet the performers and enjoy light refreshments provided by the church members.  These programs are a part of the cultural outreach of Saint Matthew’s Church and made possible in part by a grant from the Hardin County Community Endowment Foundation, as well as through a generous contribution from the Church Women United Thrift Store.
