TRI Clear Lake

Tri Clear Lake Triathlon is one of those races that just gets everything right:  clean open-water swimming from City beach, a flat and fast bike course build for speed, and a scenic run along the shoreline with a lively downtown finish.  This year the race happens on Saturday, August 29th and starts at 7:30 AM at City Beach.

Hosted by the Clear Lake Chamber of Commerce, TRI Clear Lake has been named the state championship race, once again, by USA Triathlon for 2026.  This is the perfect race for beginners, or for experienced triathletes alike looking for a great tune-up race for Ironman 70.3 Des Moines!
