24 Hours to Showtime: The Esquire Players Take on the Ultimate Theater Challenge The curtain rises in 24 hours… and they're just getting started!

The Esquire Players are starting a new, exciting and fast-paced theatrical tradition—a 24-Hour Show! Directed by Sarah Funderburk with assistant direction by Stefanie Delgado, this high-energy, all-hands-on-deck event is set to take place July 18–19 at the historic Esquire Theater in downtown Carthage, and you won’t want to miss it.

On Friday, July 18, the cast and crew will walk into the theater having no idea what play they’re performing. Once the show is revealed, the chaos—and magic—begins. In just 24 hours, the Esquire Players will cast the show, memorize lines, block scenes, build sets, create costumes, and rehearse like there’s no tomorrow… because there isn’t. The final result? A fully staged performance at 7 PM on Saturday, July 19.

This theatrical marathon is equal parts adrenaline and artistry, showcasing what makes community theater so thrilling and alive. It’s a whirlwind of teamwork, creativity, and courage—all happening in real time.

And the best part? You get to see the final product!

🎭 Performance: Saturday, July 19 at 7 PM
📍 Location: The Esquire Theater, Downtown Carthage
🎟️ Tickets: Just $10 for adults, $5 for children under 12

Whether you're a die-hard theater fan or just love a good community event, the 24-Hour Show is a must-see. Come cheer on the cast and crew as they prove that with heart, hustle, and a little caffeine, anything is possible—even pulling off a full production in just one day.

24 hours to cast, costume, rehearse, and perform?
No problem.
