Sprague River Bridge Connection has been serving the Sprague River Valley for 20 years. We provide emergency food boxes, hygiene items, social service information, and clothing. We have homemade baked goods available every Wednesday. We have 12 wonderful volunteers that work together picking up, setting up and distributing food boxes every Wednesday. On Tuesday's we sort & put out donations that have been donated by our generous community. We serve 150-200 families per month food boxes, clothing, hygiene items, household items and social services information.This rural and underserved area of Klamath County in Southern Oregon has high unemployment levels and many seniors on fixed incomes. The Pantry serves people closer to their homes, because inflation and increased gas prices make it difficult to travel the 90 mile round trip to Klamath Falls.

The Bridge Connection was established to Bridge the gap between the outlying communities of the Sprague River Valley and the services available in Klamath Falls, Oregon. Serving the Sprague River Valley for 20 years. Due to the increase of the population of the Sprague River Valley we have outgrown our current building. A community member has donated land in Sprague River for us to build a larger facility. We are working on funding for our new facility. We give away food boxes, hygiene items, clothing, social service information and emotional support. We are working to eliminate hunger and improve the health and well-being of our residents through access to healthy and nutritious foods. We believe partnerships internally and externally are necessary to fulfilling our mission. We want to create a safe place where people feel safe. Our pantry in 2022-2023 gave out 83,000 pounds of food. We also gave away 34,000 pounds of produce during June-November. In 2022 we helped 1169 families, 2023 we helped 1867 families. We rely on pledges, donations, bake sales and rummage sales.
