Breast Cancer Awareness 5k Run/Walk

On October 4, the City of Brownsville and Main Street of Brownsville hosted their annual Breast Cancer Awareness 5K Run/Walk. The event drew a strong community turnout, with 161 registered participants and 145 actively participating.

All proceeds from the event were donated to Susan G. Komen, supporting vital research and aid for those affected by breast cancer. The run/walk not only promoted health and fitness but also raised awareness about breast cancer prevention and early detection.

Thanks to everyone who joined and contributed to this impactful cause. Together, we’re making a difference in the fight against breast cancer.
