Ambulance Services of Lexington



The City of Brownsville has officially awarded the contract for emergency medical services within the city limits to Ambulance Services of Lexington (ASL), marking a significant step forward in advancing the quality and responsiveness of prehospital care for the Brownsville community.

This transition comes as part of the city’s commitment to ensuring timely, high-quality EMS coverage and enhancing public safety for all residents. Ambulance Services of Lexington, is a trusted provider with a strong record of service across multiple Tennessee counties, and brings a well-established reputation for clinical excellence, rapid response times, and community-focused care.

We are honored to have been selected to serve the people of Brownsville. We look forward to working alongside city leadership, local agencies, and healthcare partners to meet the evolving needs of this community.

As part of the new partnership, we will be staffing advanced life support ambulances around the clock within the city limits, supported by highly trained EMTs and Paramedics/Critical Care Paramedics, allowing us to provide care that meets and exceeds state standards.

Our company is also committed in investing in continuing education, specialized training programs, and updated technology for our personnel, ensuring that local EMS services remain aligned with best practices and modern medical protocols.

Full operations under Ambulance Services of Lexington will officially begin at 7am on August 1st. Residents will continue to use 911 for emergency medical services.
