THE CITY OF BROWNSVILLE WILL NO LONGER BE ACCEPTING PENNIES

Effective immediately, the City of Brownsville will no longer accept pennies for cash transactions.

All cash payments will be rounded to the nearest 5 cents. 

Important:
This rounding policy applies only to cash payments.
Credit card, debit card, check, and online payments will continue to be processed to the exact cent.
