Employee Spotlight: Michael Robertson

Michael Robertson has spent the last two years helping keep the City of Brownsville's technology connected and operating efficiently through his work in Information Technology. From repairing computers and maintaining servers to resolving unexpected technical issues, Michael plays a key role in supporting the City's daily operations. He also brings extensive expertise in managing the City's telephone system. While much of his work takes place behind the scenes, his dedication to providing reliable technology support helps employees stay focused on serving the community.

Outside of work, Michael is an avid chess player who enjoys sharing his passion for the game with others. He teaches aspiring players at the annual Shelby County Chess Camp and also offers private online instruction, helping students develop their skills and appreciation for the game.
