Sparky and the Brownsville Fire Department Share Summer Fire Safety Tips

As temperatures rise and families spend more time outdoors, the Brownsville Fire Department is teaming up with everyone’s favorite fire safety mascot, Sparky the Fire Dog, to remind residents that summer fun and fire safety go hand in hand.

Summer is a season filled with cookouts, camping trips, fireworks displays, and time spent with family and friends. While these activities create lasting memories, they can also increase the risk of fires if proper precautions aren’t taken. Sparky and the Brownsville Fire Department encourage everyone to stay alert and practice safe habits throughout the season.

A Message from Sparky

“Summer is a time for fun, but safety should always come first! By following a few simple precautions, you can help protect your family, friends, and neighbors from fire-related emergencies.”

The Brownsville Fire Department is committed to keeping our community safe throughout the summer season. By staying alert and practicing fire safety both indoors and outdoors, we can all enjoy a fun, memorable, and fire-safe summer.

Have a safe and happy summer from Sparky and the Brownsville Fire Department!
