Catholic Daughters Court #379 Donate Hygiene Bags to Weston Police and Fire Department
The City of Weston would like to thank the Catholic Daughters Court #379 for collecting items and assembling Emergency Hygiene Bags for our community. These were delivered to the Weston Vol. Fire Department and the Weston Police Department to use when someone may need a little extra help after a house fire, or when police encounter someone who could use a small pick-me-up.
Each bag includes essentials such as toothbrushes and toothpaste, body wipes and deodorant, notepads and pens, soap and shampoo, chapstick, and other necessities, all tucked into a duffel bag.
Catholic Daughters Court #379 has a rich history of supporting those in need, having previously created hygiene bags for HOPE Domestic Violence and special “Burn Out” bags for families who have lost their homes, complete with comforting items for children.
We are grateful for their generosity and continued commitment to serving and supporting our community in times of need.
A special thanks to Donna Lake, Kathy Sims, Marilyn Bean, and Avah Stalnaker for their commitment and generosity in delivering the hygiene bags. Your actions shine a light of hope!
