City of Weston and Lewis County EDA Shine a Light on Our Community
Over the last two weeks, the City of Weston teamed up with the Lewis County Economic Development Authority (EDA) to shine a light on our community. We had a great time representing our community at Central Counties Day and Outdoor Economic Development Day at the West Virginia State Capitol in Charleston. These events were a fantastic opportunity to showcase Weston's progress, discuss local projects, and advocate for investments that support economic development, tourism, outdoor activities, and the revitalization of our community in Lewis County.
By working alongside the EDA, we discussed Weston’s vision for the future with state officials, partners, and other communities—a vision that emphasizes teamwork, innovation, and sustainable growth. We’re really thankful for the partnerships helping to drive our city forward and for the chance to represent Weston at the Capitol. Together, we’re building a better future for our residents, businesses, and visitors.
"Working alongside the City of Weston these past two weeks—at both Central Counties Day and Outdoor Economic Development Day—was a real pleasure. Together, with others, we brought great energy and teamwork, built wonderful new connections, and shared our hopes and priorities. We were proud to represent Lewis County with warmth, optimism, and a genuine spirit of collaboration." Ray Smith, Executive Director of the Lewis County Economic Development Authority
