Kill Creek Connector Trail Ribbon Cutting

Join us on Saturday, Nov. 7, at 9:00 a.m. to celebrate the completion of approximately 2.4 miles of new paved, multi-use trail through a portion of the former Sunflower Ammunition Plant.

This new section connects two existing trails, creating an 11-mile route extending from the Kansas River to 143rd Street. The project strengthens connections between parks and communities, enhances the Kill Creek Streamway corridor, and highlights the unique features of the Sunflower property.
