Get ready, De Soto! Small Business Season is almost here, and you might see our staff and Ambassadors out and about spreading cheer—stopping by with a special treat and an invitation to join the celebration.

We’ve made it easy for all local businesses—Chamber members and non-members alike—to get involved. Share your services, promotions, or special events by filling out our online form or posting to our new Facebook Group: Small Business Season – De Soto Chamber of Commerce,  and let us help promote them!

This is the most meaningful time of the year—Small Business Season! When you shop local, you’re investing in more than a product or service. You’re powering dreams, supporting jobs, and strengthening the places that make our community feel like home.

Think about your favorite traditions: the café with the best cocoa, the boutique where you always find that just-right gift, the restaurant where celebrations turn into memories. These aren’t just stops on your holiday list—they’re the backdrop of your holidays, and they wouldn’t be the same without them.

That’s the spirit behind Small Business Season: celebrating the people and places that make De Soto special. From November 1st to December 31st, we’re honoring the heart and soul of our community—our small businesses. These dedicated business owners pour passion into every product, service, and smile, making our town unique and vibrant.

This year’s theme says it all: Every Purchase Has a Purpose.
Your local spending fuels jobs, strengthens the economy, and keeps neighbors connected. The impact doesn’t stop at the counter—it ripples across our schools, sports teams, and community causes.
