Welcoming Resource Health to De Soto

Thank you to those who attended and helped us officially welcome Resource Health to De Soto. Your support and presence made the celebration meaningful and reflect the strong sense of community we value.

The De Soto Chamber of Commerce was proud to host a ribbon cutting to celebrate Resource Health’s grand opening and newest location in our growing community. Since opening in 1992, Resource Health has expanded to four locations across the Kansas City metro, serving women and men with compassion, care, and excellence.

Resource Health Partners is the nonprofit organization whose mission is to offer compassionate care to men and women experiencing unplanned pregnancies. Their focus is to holistically empower the family unit through advocacy, education, mentoring, and discipleship, with the goal of positively impacting families now and for generations to come.

We were honored to hear remarks from Dustin Baker, Chair of the Board, who spoke about the importance of welcoming new partners that strengthen local businesses and support families. Alissa Gross, CEO of Resource Health, also shared why De Soto was chosen for this new location. With the community’s rapid growth, Resource Health saw an opportunity to provide accessible, vital support during life-changing moments for families in De Soto and the surrounding area.

Guests enjoyed food, refreshments, and personal tours of their space, giving attendees the opportunity to learn more about the services Resource Health provides and how they will support families locally. It was an exciting morning of connection as Chamber members, community partners, and neighbors came together to celebrate this new chapter.
