De Soto Chamber Luncheon Brings Community, Insights, and Opportunities Together

The De Soto Chamber of Commerce welcomed members and guests to its April Chamber Luncheon, hosted by the City of De Soto and sponsored by Family EyeCare Center of De Soto. The luncheon provided an opportunity for local business leaders to connect, share updates, and gain valuable insights that support both business success and overall well-being.

Eye Health & Wellness Take Center Stage

Dr. Jonathan Reddell of Family EyeCare Center of De Soto delivered a brief and informative presentation on the importance of comprehensive eye care. He highlighted how routine eye exams play a critical role not only in vision health but also in identifying broader health concerns. From annual exams and vision screenings to diagnosing and treating ocular diseases, his message reinforced the value of proactive, personalized care.

Member Updates

Members in attendance also shared updates, highlighting ways to stay engaged in the community. Tracy Heath with De Soto Days Festival announced that sponsorship packages officially launched. This annual event offers businesses a valuable opportunity to increase visibility and connect with the community.

Liz Albers with Johnson County Community College Workforce Development and Continuing Education shared details about an upcoming Business Breakfast Series focused on Second Chance Hiring. This initiative will provide employers with insights and resources to support inclusive hiring practices and workforce growth.
