Chamber Members Connect at Great American Bank for August After Hours

Thank you to everyone who joined us for our August Chamber After Hours, generously sponsored and hosted by Great American Bank.

With locations in Lawrence, De Soto, Kansas City, Missouri, and Lake Lotawana, Missouri, the bank offers checking and savings accounts, mortgage lending, online banking, and personalized financial services while remaining deeply committed to the communities it serves.

Guests enjoyed an evening of networking, refreshments, and conversation while learning more about the bank and the many ways its team gives back to the community. Chamber members Lindsay Waller of Force of Nature Brewing and George Hoff of Stone Pillar Vineyard & Winery helped make the evening even more enjoyable by serving a selection of locally crafted beer and wine.

During the event, Brenda O'Keefe highlighted one of the community's upcoming family events, Pop-Up Paddle, hosted by Friends of the Kaw and the De Soto Rotary Club. The free event will take place on Saturday, August 15, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Lexington Lake Park (9000 Sunflower Road, De Soto) and offers families an opportunity to experience paddling on the water while enjoying one of De Soto's great outdoor amenities.

Brenda also shared that Great American Bank will host its annual Customer Appreciation Lunch next month, another example of the bank's commitment to celebrating and supporting the community it serves.
