Join the Team Behind the Blairstown Fishing Derby

We’re looking for volunteers to help bring the Blairstown Fishing Derby to life! Whether you’re an experienced angler or simply someone who enjoys supporting community events, there are plenty of ways to get involved. Volunteers will assist with weighing and measuring fish, help guide participants through derby rules, support fishing demonstrations, and provide encouragement and hands-on help—especially for younger or first-time anglers.

This is a great opportunity to spend the day outdoors, meet neighbors, and be part of a tradition that celebrates community, nature, and family fun in Blairstown at Footbridge Park. No special expertise is required—just a positive attitude and a willingness to pitch in where needed.
