Community Celebrates NWRHS Class of 2026

BEC and Siddhachalam IMJM Award Scholarships to NWRHS Seniors

The future is bright for this year’s graduating seniors.

Students, families, educators, and community members gathered at North Warren Regional High School for the annual Scholarship Awards Presentation, an evening dedicated to celebrating academic achievement, leadership, service, and the promising futures of the Class of 2026.

During the ceremony, more than $90,000 in scholarships were awarded to graduating seniors through the generosity of local organizations, businesses, civic groups, foundations, and individual donors. Each scholarship represented not only financial support, but also a meaningful investment in the next generation of leaders, innovators, educators, tradespeople, and community builders.

Scholarship recipients were recognized for a wide range of accomplishments, including academic excellence, community involvement, volunteerism, leadership, athletics, artistic achievement, and dedication to overcoming personal challenges. For many students and families, the awards will help ease the financial burden of continuing their education while opening doors to new opportunities.

The collective impact of more than $90,000 awarded demonstrates the remarkable generosity that exists within our community. Every scholarship reflects the belief that supporting young people today strengthens our community for years to come.

As graduates prepare to take their next steps, the Scholarship Awards Presentation served as a powerful reminder that they do so with the encouragement, confidence, and support of an entire community standing behind them.

BEC Announces Scholarship Expansion During Awards Ceremony

Among the evening’s many celebrations, the Blairstown Enhancement Committee (BEC), with the generous support of Siddhachalam IMJM, was proud to award two graduating seniors with $1,000 scholarships in recognition of their achievements and commitment to their future goals. Building on this year’s success, BEC is excited to announce that the program will expand next year, doubling its impact by awarding four $1,000 scholarships to deserving members of the Class of 2027.

Celebrating Our Scholarship Recipients

This year’s scholarship recipients, Tessa E. and Mylie P. were selected from an impressive pool of applicants who submitted thoughtful and inspiring essays. The selection committee was challenged by the quality of the submissions, as many students demonstrated a strong commitment to community service, compassion, leadership, personal growth, and future aspirations. While choosing just two recipients was no easy task, the essays reflected the exceptional character and potential of the graduating class, giving us great confidence in the future of our community.

As our community continues to invest in the next generation, we are inspired by the accomplishments of this year’s graduates and encouraged by the opportunities that lie ahead. Congratulations to all scholarship recipients, and thank you to the donors, organizations, educators, and families who make these opportunities possible. We look forward to growing our scholarship program and celebrating even more student success stories in the years to come!
