As we reflect on the past year, we’re proud to share the progress, partnerships, and community spirit that have made 2024–2025 such a memorable year for Main Street Marianna. Together, we’ve strengthened downtown, invested in improvements, and celebrated all the things that make our town special.

Accreditation

Earned recognition as an Accredited Main Street Program.

Partnerships

Welcomed 56 new and returning partners dedicated to supporting downtown revitalization.

Public Art

Funded 4 murals with $30,000+ invested in the Downtown Historic District.

Business Engagement

Hosted 4 Quarterly Merchants Meetings to connect and collaborate with local businesses.

Volunteers

Launched the Volunteer Crew to mobilize faithful, supportive community members. Together, volunteers contributed 738+ hours, valued at $24,000, to Main Street projects and events.

Investment & Grants

• CRA Grants – $104,843 awarded across four programs
• Economic Development Grant – $10,000 (1 awarded)
• Façade Grants – $58,124 (9 awarded)
• Awning Grants – $28,097 (7 awarded)
• Sign Grants – $8,622 (5 awarded)

Public Improvements

(in coordination with the City & CRA)

• Park Improvements – $30,900 invested, including new electrical, additional lighting, tables, fans, and umbrellas.
• Streetscaping Improvements – $15,595 invested, including new banners and benches.

Events & Activations

We delivered a full year of consistent, family-friendly programming that brings people downtown and supports local businesses, including:

• Food Truck Events
• Karaoke & Acoustic Night Contest
• Crawfish Cookoff Contest
• Christmas in July & Christmas in Candyland
• Independence Day Celebration
• Community Clean-Up Days
