Build Your Own Rain Barrel Workshop

You can become a rain water conservationist by creating your own rain barrel for use at home. We will have a presentation on the benefits of having a rain barrel in your yard followed by time to create your own rain barrel in the shop. We will team up and work on assembling the rain barrels together. We will be converting 55-gallon barrels by installing the parts in predrilled holes. All supplies needed will be provided but we will have to share the tools provided. Registration is required on www.mycountyparks.com to attend the workshop.

The registration fee is $45 per rain barrel and we have a maximum number of 20 rain barrels kits. You are welcome to bring a friend or family member along to assist in the rain barrel assembly. This workshop is for people ages 18 and over.
