Chamber Update

Our new website is live! Check it out now and come back often for updates and news. We are adding things all the time. Business and community organization members of the chamber can have their own page set up and add events, blog posts, and information. We are currently working to renew memberships and add new members! Work will begin on a new member directory after January 31.

Nominations are open for the 2026 Citizen of the Year and Young Leader Award! Do you know someone who should be recognized for their contributions? Submit your nomination here: 2026 Chamber of Commerce Award Nominations or stop by the chamber office if you'd rather drop off a letter or complete a paper nomination.
Citizen of the Year The Charles A. Hughes Citizen of the Year is awarded to a person who is highly dedicated to the community of Emmetsburg. This person will be recognized for the many contributions they have made through their service and/or as a volunteer within the community.

Young Leader The Young Leader award is given to individuals who are dedicated to Emmetsburg while showing a display of vision and leadership, innovation and achievement, impact, growth and development strategy, and community involvement.  

Good things are happening downtown! Next week on Friday, January 30 join us in welcoming Ruth and Rubies Market at 2104 Main Street! Owner Lily Leyva is hosting an open house all day, Chamber Coffee beginning at 9:30 and ribbon cutting at 10:00! Come support this new business!
