Rick's Septic Service, owned and operated by Rick and Autumn (Frederick) Watts, services a 70-mile radius around Emmetsburg, including Storm Lake, Paulina, Spencer, Lake Park, the Iowa Great Lakes, Estherville, Bancroft, Algona, Pocahontas and all the little towns in between. Rick's Septic Service started with Rick's dad, also named Rick, in 2009. Rick and Autumn took over the business in October 2024 and also purchased the septic/jetting side of Boji Portable Toilets/Koenig's out of Gillette Grove.

Rick's Septic Service pumps septic tanks as well as boot pits for grain bins. Rick's can even save you back-breaking shoveling and vacuum up the spilled corn or beans that need to be put back where it spilled from. If you have utilities that need to be safely exposed to dig around, Rick's can help. Rick's Septic Service has the ability to hydro-jet drains, jet tile, smooth/de-scale cast iron, remove tree roots, and all-around clean drains. Additionally, Rick Watts is a certified Time of Transfer Inspector with the Iowa DNR

Autumn (Frederick) Watts grew up in Emmetsburg and has lived here her whole life. It’s where they're raising their kids, and they are excited to see where the future takes them. "We love “little ol’ Emmetsburg”, it’s where we call home!" By joining the Chamber, Rick and Autumn hope to gain exposure and share all the service people may not realize they do. "We are also hoping we can help encourage Emmetsburg citizens to pay more attention to the Chamber and everything they have to offer our beautiful community!"
