Music & Market in the Park June 18th, 2026

Last night, Thursday June 18th, the community enjoyed it's first Music & Market in the Park of the year at Soper Park.



Community members gathered in the park on a picture-perfect summer evening for Music & Market in the Park, enjoying local vendors, great food, live entertainment, and music under sunny skies.

The event kicked off at 5:30 p.m. and featured six local market vendors offering a variety of handmade goods, crafts, and unique products. Guests also enjoyed food and refreshments from three food and drink trucks, providing plenty of options for families and visitors throughout the evening.

Entertainment was provided by Back Yard Entertainment, which hosted karaoke and kept the crowd engaged with music and fun throughout the event. Community members of all ages took turns singing their favorite songs, creating a lively and welcoming atmosphere in the park.
As the evening continued, attendees gathered for the Municipal Band Concert, which began at 7 p.m, and continued shopping. The concert provided the perfect soundtrack to a beautiful night, with community members relaxing, visiting with friends, and enjoying the warm weather.
With clear skies, comfortable temperatures, and strong community participation, Music & Market in the Park proved to be another successful summer event. The combination of local vendors, delicious food, family-friendly entertainment, and live music created an enjoyable evening for everyone who attended.

The Chamber held a picnic blanket raffle, and will hold another one at next weeks Music & Market in the Park. There will be more vendors and different food and specialty truck options next week. Stay tuned for our vendor highlights to come out next week on Facebook.
