Chamber Update

The Community Paint-by-Number event at Mural Park was an incredible success, bringing together residents of all ages for an evening filled with creativity, connection, and community pride. From young children painting their very first sections to adults adding their own colorful touches, hundreds of brushstrokes came together to create something much bigger; a shared community experience.

The event showcased the power of public art to bring people together, with families, friends, and neighbors stopping by throughout the evening to help transform the mural one number at a time. The excitement and enthusiasm from everyone involved made it clear that this was a successful summer event and a wonderful example of what makes Emmetsburg such a special place.

A special thank you goes to Storm Lake Corndog Company for serving up delicious corn dogs and crowd favorites that kept painters fueled throughout the evening. We also appreciate Big Dreams N Ice Creams for providing refreshing sweet treats that were the perfect way to cool off on a warm summer night.

Thank you to everyone who picked up a paintbrush, supported the event, and helped make the Community Paint-by-Number a massive hit. The mural is more than just artwork, it is a lasting reminder of the creativity, collaboration, and community spirit that make Emmetsburg shine.

The Emmetsburg Chamber of Commerce was proud to present a donation of $1,019 to the Emmetsburg Municipal Band following the Music with a Mission fundraiser held during Music & Market in the Park on June 25.

Thanks to the generosity of community members who attended the event and contributed throughout the evening, the fundraiser raised $519 for the Municipal Band. The Chamber of Commerce then matched donations up to $500, bringing the total contribution to $1,019.

Chamber Director Christy presented the donation to members of the Emmetsburg Municipal Band, recognizing the important role they play in enriching the community through their summer concert series and community performances.

The Chamber extends its sincere appreciation to everyone who donated and supported Music with a Mission. Community partnerships like these help preserve the traditions and organizations that make Emmetsburg a vibrant place to live, work, and visit.
