The Palo Alto County Zero Suicide Coalition invites you and your team to participate in a FREE Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training (ASIST). This nationally recognized, two-day workshop teaches participants how to recognize when someone may be at risk for suicide, have a supportive conversation, and connect them with the help they need.

Whether you work in a medical clinic, chiropractic office, bank, salon, barbershop, restaurant, bar, retail store, church, fitness center, or any business that serves the public, you have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference. You don't have to be a mental health professional to help—you simply need the skills and confidence to recognize when someone may need support. And honestly, you often have the first contact!

In our small communities, we know each other. We see our customers, patients, clients, and neighbors regularly. That puts us in a unique position to notice when something isn't quite right. By increasing the number of people trained in ASIST across Palo Alto County, we're creating a stronger network of caring individuals who are prepared to respond when someone needs help most.
