Now Hiring: Christmas Decorating Foreman

Beattyville Main Street and Lee County Tourism are seeking a Christmas Decorating Foreman with a basic understanding of electrical work to help bring holiday cheer to our community.

You’ll work closely with:

• Teresa Mays, Beattyville Main Street Director, 606-567-7703
• Dedra Brandenburg, Lee County Tourism Director, 606-560-9059

Job Duties:

• Inventory approximately 25 medium to large metal Christmas displays
• Note which displays need repairs, maintenance, or replacement
• Work with Main Street and Tourism to develop a placement plan for displays at:
• Main Street
• Three Forks Historical Museum
• Lee County Memorial Park
• Coordinate with the city/WIOA crew to direct installation of the decorating plan, manage electrical needs, and address any safety concerns for pedestrians and traffic flow.
• Be flexible and willing to assist with any additional decorating projects. 

Timeline:

• Application window closes: Tuesday, November 25th
• Selection made: Wednesday, November 26th
• Decoration installation completed by: December 4th

Pay:

• $10.00 per hour
