Lee County Tourism Has a NEW Website!

We’re excited to announce the launch of our brand-new website, and plan to pack it with more local resources, stories, and tools than ever before!

Through our new partnership with Locable, we’re now able to automatically include content, events, and updates from participating local businesses and nonprofit organizations.

✨ On the new site, you can:
• Explore and connect with local businesses and attractions
• See and add events on our new Community Calendar
• Read local stories that highlight what makes Beattyville & Lee County so special — and much more!

When nonprofits and local organizations register, their events will automatically appear on the Tourism website calendar, helping reach a much wider audience. These events also sync directly with Google, improving visibility when people search for things to do in the area.

That’s important because AI and smartphone technology scan Google data first before social media. Just because you post on Facebook doesn’t mean people will find or plan to attend your event — but by adding it to the new calendar, you’ll make sure it appears in Google searches and other event listings across the web automatically.

Moving forward, Lee County Tourism, partnering with Locable and Beattyville Main Street, will help small businesses and organizations use these tools to simplify their marketing, boost their Google search visibility, and make it easier for customers to find their hours, events, promotions, and updates online — all in one place!
