That feeling filled the Anderson Auto Group Fieldhouse on December 13 during the Magic of Christmas, presented by Republic Services. With a great turnout and smiling faces everywhere you looked, the day reminded us that the true magic of the season lives in the eyes of children.

Where Wonder Turned to Joy

Some of the most memorable moments were the quiet ones. Kids pressing a little closer at the petting zoo. Small hands reaching out carefully. Big smiles forming as nerves turned into excitement.

That sense of wonder carried through the entire Fieldhouse. Laughter moved easily from one space to the next, and the joy on the kids’ faces had a way of pulling everyone in.

Waiting for the Moment

Just before the music began, there was a quiet kind of excitement. A little girl waited patiently in her Dance Zoo costume, ready for her turn on stage.

The MALC cheerleaders kicked off the entertainment, setting the tone for a day filled with movement and energy. Performances from local schools and organizations followed throughout the day, with familiar faces like Godfrey the Elf adding to the holiday fun. The Fieldhouse felt alive with local talent and community pride.

From Calm Moments to Big Bravery

For some, the day moved at a slower pace. Two little boys rode the train together, soaking in every turn.

Just beyond those gentle rides, the energy shifted. Kids gathered the courage to try something new, whether it was the Alpine Tubing Slide, Zipline, or the spinning bucket ride. From calm moments to big bravery, the Magic of Christmas made room for it all.

The Helpers Who Counted Down the Magic

In the days leading up to the event, local kids helped count down the twelve days to the Magic of Christmas. Their excitement built anticipation and reminded us why this season feels so special.

Their smiles and personalities helped tell the story before the doors ever opened.

As the day came to a close, it was clear the Magic of Christmas was more than lights, rides, or performances. It was a community moment made possible by people who care deeply about Bullhead City and the families who call it home.
