The Votes Are In: Bullhead City's Favorite Beach Revealed

Bullhead City has spoken.

After hundreds of votes and comments from locals and visitors, Community Park South Beach has been named Bullhead City's Favorite Beach Area.

The voting wasn't just about choosing a winner. It became a celebration of everything people love about spending time along the Colorado River.

Voters shared memories of all-day beach outings, family cookouts, afternoons spent floating the river and discovering their favorite stretches of shoreline throughout Bullhead City. Some praised easy access to the water. Others highlighted sandy beaches, beautiful views, and places where family traditions have been built over generations.

One voter summed up South Beach this way:

"Spot #9 at South Beach. Best beach access and sandy, cool river vibes."

Another wrote:

"As a full-time local, this is easy to get to, there's always action going on at the river, and it's close to the Bullhead Belle for snacks, drinks, and entertainment."

While memories were shared from beaches throughout the community, Community Park South Beach emerged as the clear favorite.

With its wide-open shoreline, sandy beaches, easy access to the river, and plenty of room to spread out, South Beach has quickly become one of Bullhead City's most popular destinations for a summer day on the water.

To celebrate the community's choice, a commemorative plaque will be installed at Community Park South Beach recognizing it as Bullhead City's Favorite Beach Area.

The results also showcased the variety of beach experiences available throughout Bullhead City, with Rotary Park's Bowl Beach earning second place and Davis Camp Island taking third.

Community Park Beaches

Home to Bullhead City's Favorite Beach Area, Community Park offers three distinct ways to enjoy the Colorado River. North Beach is a convenient choice for families thanks to nearby splash pads, ramadas, boat access, and views across the river.
