Free Arts Education to Now Impact 17,000 Students as Arts Access Miami Expands Into Central Miami-Dade County

WHAT: Launch celebration marking Arts Access Miami's expansion into the Central District of Miami-Dade County Public Schools, serving students across Brownsville, Allapattah, Liberty City, West Little River, and Gladeview. With the expansion, Arts Access Miami (AAM) will serve more than 17,000 students across Miami-Dade County during the 2026–2027 school year.
IMPACT/PHOTO-OP: The event marks a major milestone in Arts Access Miami’s long-term vision to build a unified, countywide system for arts education, ensuring that every child, regardless of zip code, has access to meaningful arts learning opportunities. Kindergarten to high school students will help celebrate with music and dance performances; M-DCPS Superintendent Dr. Jose L. Dotres will receive the inaugural Arts Champion Award for his commitment to expand arts education.
