In case you missed it, the York Region Chamber of Commerce launched a new series called Chamber Chats, bringing local business professional together for a focused hour of insight and conversation. On Wednesday morning, attendees dove into the timely topic of merchant services compliance and cost savings. 

Mia Bragdon from Vivid Commerce led the discussion, offering a clear, approachable breakdown of:

• Strategies to reduce credit card processing fees

• How to communicate fees transparently with customers

• Selecting the right payment and POS software

With a master’s degree in education, Mia brought an educator’s lens to a subject that often feels anything but simple. Her presentation translated technical payment concepts into language business owners can actually use and understand.
