Support the PAL Program Scholarship Fund
Since 1989, the PAL Program has been a cornerstone of the York community, providing a safe and enriching environment for school-aged children during the critical hours before and after school. As we look toward the 2026-2027 academic year, our goal is to ensure that every child in York has access to quality care, regardless of their family's financial situation.
We are currently reaching out to community leaders like you to help us reach our $20,000 Scholarship Fund goal. While our program is primarily funded by tuition, we recognize that many working families in our town face financial hurdles. To meet this need, we provide discounted tuition rates so parents can remain in the workforce with the peace of mind that their children are safe and supported.
Your Investment in York's Families A sponsorship or donation of any size goes directly toward these tuition discounts. Because the PAL Program is a registered 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization, your contribution is fully tax-deductible. To show the direct impact of your support:
• $275 (Weekly Support): Provides one full week of before and after school care for a local student.
• $1,100 (Monthly Stability): Covers one month of scholarship support, ensuring a child has a consistent, safe routine.
• $2,475 (Quarterly Impact): Funds nine weeks of care, supporting a family through an entire academic quarter.
• $10,037 (Full-Year Champion): Fully sponsors a child for all 36.5 weeks of the school year, removing financial barriers for the entire calendar.
In appreciation of your partnership, we will publicly recognize your contribution on our social media, our website, and in our regular communications with our PAL families. As a local non-profit that has served York for over 35 years, we are proud of the roots we have grown here.
By partnering with us, you are making a direct investment in the well-being of York's families and the next generation of our community. We would be honored to discuss how your support can make a difference.

Thank you for your time and for all you do for the York community. Sincerely, Laura Gilchrest & Nancy Conrad Co-Directors The PAL Program
