The Citizen of the Year award recognizes the efforts of an individual who contributes to making the City of Hesston a great place to live, work, and play.

• Serves the Hesston community above and beyond that required or expected through the individual’s employment and demonstrates goodwill toward other citizens without personal or financial gain.

• Demonstrates character, commitment, and leadership resulting in positive impact on the Hesston Community.
