This meeting was moved to the third Thursday of the month in accordance with the Historic Preservation Commission’s Rules of Procedure because a city-observed holiday falls on the regularly scheduled meeting date.

The Statesville Historic Preservation Commission (HPC) was established by the City Council in 1982. Its mission is to identify, preserve, and protect Statesville's historic resources and to educate the public about those resources and historic preservation in general.

The Historic Preservation Commission Members are appointed for three-year terms by City Council. This board consists of 9 members.

Meetings are held on the 4th Thursday of each month at 7pm in the City Council Chambers at City Hall.
