City of Statesville Announces 7th Street Road Closure for Storm Pipe Repair: August 17–19, 2026

The work on 7th Street has been completed, and the road is now open.

7th Street Road Closure – August 17-19, 2026

Beginning Monday, August 17, 2026, a contractor for the City of Statesville will perform a storm pipe repair near 1019 7th Street, between Winston Avenue and Durham Avenue. 7th Street will be closed to through traffic near the construction area.

Motorists should use an alternate route and use caution around crews and equipment.

Work is anticipated to be complete by Wednesday, August 19, weather permitting.
