Parsons Area Chamber Adds 77 New Members in Two Days!
The Parsons Area Chamber of Commerce recently partnered with Your Chamber Connection to host an exciting and impactful membership campaign that strengthened awareness of the Chamber’s role in the community while expanding its network of local businesses and supporters. Over the course of the fast-paced campaign, more than 30 local Chamber supporters participated in learning sessions and outreach efforts focused on sharing the Chamber’s mission, programs, and the value of membership to the Parsons and Labette County business community. Their efforts helped tell the story of how the Chamber connects businesses, builds community, and creates opportunities for economic growth.
In just 55 hours, the campaign generated incredible results, welcoming 77 new Chamber members and expanding the Chamber’s reach across the region. The campaign kicked off with team activities and outreach efforts held Tuesday and Wednesday at the Wall Family Center, with participants working together to share the Chamber’s message and invite businesses to become part of the organization. The event concluded with a celebratory gathering on Thursday, March 5 at the Cardinal Event Center, where participants came together to recognize the success of the campaign and the many individuals who made it possible.
The Chamber would like to extend special appreciation to the businesses that stepped forward as sponsors of the campaign. Platinum sponsors Labette Health and Great Plains Industrial Park provided leadership support that helped make the initiative possible. Additional thanks go to Bronze sponsors Tank Connection and Deep Fission for their commitment to strengthening the local business community.
The success of the campaign was also driven by an outstanding group of volunteer team leaders who guided their teams throughout the event. Those leaders included Purple Team leader Kayan Myers of Labette Health, Black Team leader Brad Reams of Great Plains Industrial Park, Red Team leader Lindi Forbes of Labette Community College, Gold Team leader Kandy Rushing of Grow at Eden, and Green Team leader Don Alexander of Alexander Manufacturing. Their leadership and enthusiasm energized participants and helped keep the momentum strong throughout the campaign.
Congratulations go to the Purple Team, led by Kayan Myers, which earned top honors for raising the most funds and bringing in the most new members during the campaign. Individual recognition also goes to Maggie Keene of St. Patrick’s Catholic School, who was the campaign’s top seller. The Parsons Area Chamber is grateful to every volunteer, sponsor, and new member who participated in this effort. Their commitment helps ensure that the Chamber continues to grow as a strong advocate and connector for businesses throughout Parsons and Labette County.
