Member of the Day: Great Plains Development Authority

The Great Plains Development Authority oversees and supports the continued growth and development of Great Plains Industrial Park, one of the largest industrial parks in the region with more than 6,800 acres available for redevelopment and industry expansion. Their work helps attract investment, create jobs, strengthen infrastructure, and support long-term economic growth throughout Labette County and Southeast Kansas. 

From manufacturing and transportation to technology and utilities, GPDA continues working to position Parsons and the surrounding area for future opportunities and business success. Their efforts have helped bring major projects, infrastructure improvements, and new partnerships to the community while preserving and repurposing a historic site with regional impact.
