May is Small Business Month, and We're Blessed with Many!
As Small Business Month comes to a close, we cannot let it pass without recognizing the small businesses that keep our communities going every single day.
From the shops on Main Street to home-based businesses, restaurants, service providers, makers, nonprofits, and entrepreneurs, small businesses are the backbone of Parsons, Labette County, and communities across Southeast Kansas. They sponsor local events, support school programs and youth activities, create jobs, invest in our neighborhoods, and help make our towns unique places to live and work.
Behind every small business is someone taking a risk, working long hours, solving problems, serving customers, and pouring their heart into what they do. Their dedication helps keep our local economy strong and our community connected.
Thank you to all of the small businesses that continue to choose to invest in our area and serve our communities. Your work matters, and we are grateful for all you do.
